Guild friends. You did us proud.
145 in-person votes were cast in the last three days in the NewsGuild-CWA presidential election repeat contest between incumbent Bernie Lunzer and challenger Jon Schleuss.
In the first election several months ago, a total of 84 votes were cast, meaning about 20% of the membership participated. This time, nearly 50% did — and there’s still time to vote if you have not.
Here is how:
Request a replacement ballot by mail using the AAA replacement ballot phone line, 800-529-5218, or email address,
UlerioS@adr.org.
Those ballots must be returned to the AAA post office box by the close of business Dec. 9.
Several of you have informed me you are voting by mail. Bravo!
Our friends in Indianapolis had a 60% participation. I’d love to beat them!
