RESTAURANT OPPORTUNITIES CENTER MEMBERS RATIFY NEW 3 YEAR AGREEMENT
Guild members in 7 U.S. cities today ratified unanimously a new 3 year collective bargaining agreement with The Restaurant Opportunities Center United. The new 3 year contract has improved almost every aspect of the contract, including across the board wage increases, no employee contribution to healthcare, increased paid time off, and stronger grievance and arbitration language, including severance pay, and recall rights if there are lay offs. We believe this is one of the strongest most progressive contracts for non profit Guild represented employees in the country.
