Raising Your Voice For Your Value
Reaction has been appropriately angry and appalled to Monday’s bulletin about the Company rejecting the Guild’s request for a pay raise while rewarding the Teamsters with millions of dollars in compensation — including a pension no longer funded for NewsGuild members, and health care for which Teamsters pay NO weekly contribution, unlike NewsGuild members.
Many of you have asked, “What’s next?”
Well, we need you to help answer that. We sure have some ideas.
So, Bill Ross and I will be convening a few quick gatherings next week. Please put this on your calendar. I’m quite sure you’re worth it.
